Grace Miller, Head of Failure & Experimentation at Steven Bartlett’s FlightStory, the media company behind The Diary of a CEO podcast, will tell Scottish business owners how they can grow their business by experimentation and fast failure.

Miller has been announced as the keynote speaker for the Scottish Marketing Summit 2026, taking place at Hampden Park, Glasgow on Thursday 29th October.

Miller has played a major role in the extraordinary growth of one of the world’s most listened-to podcasts, The Diary of a CEO, helping it grow from 100,000 YouTube subscribers into a global media brand with over 15 million subscribers. The company also hosts popular podcasts We Need To Talk with Paul C Brunson, Begin Again with Davina McCall, Hot Smart Rich with Maggie Sellers Reum and more.

Over the past four and a half years, she has worked at the heart of Dragons’ Den judge Steven Bartlett’s media empire, helping to build the systems, culture and experimentation-led approach that have turned the podcast into an international phenomenon.

As Head of Failure & Experimentation, Miller leads a dedicated department focused on testing, learning and growth, an approach that has become increasingly important for businesses navigating fast-changing markets, shifting consumer behaviour and the rise of new media platforms.

Her keynote speech at the Scottish Marketing Summit will explore the role of experimentation, failure, content, growth and building brands that can cut through in today’s crowded marketplace. She will teach business owners how they can benefit from and implement an experimentation approach inside their businesses.

Miller is a sought-after international speaker on growth, experimentation, marketing, podcasting and failure. She has shared her insight on stages around the world, including Dubai, Los Angeles, Australia and London.

The Scottish Marketing Summit 2026 will bring together business owners, marketers, freelancers and entrepreneurs from across Scotland for a full day of world-class learning, practical insight and high-impact networking.

Following the success of the inaugural summit in 2025, the Summit is expanding significantly in 2026 by moving to Hampden Park, Glasgow, with more than 350 attendees expected.

Susan Carruthers, founder of the Scottish Marketing Summit, said:

“We are absolutely thrilled to announce Grace Miller as the keynote speaker for the Scottish Marketing Summit 2026.
“Grace has been part of one of the most impressive media and marketing growth stories of the last decade. The Diary of a CEO has become a global brand, and Grace’s work in experimentation, failure and growth offers exactly the kind of fresh, practical and ambitious thinking that Scottish businesses need.
“Our aim with the Scottish Marketing Summit is to give business owners and marketers in Scotland access to world-class speakers, powerful ideas and a community that can help them grow. Grace represents everything we want this event to be about - bold thinking, practical learning and the confidence to test, fail, adapt and grow.”

Grace Miller said:

“I’m really excited to be joining the Scottish Marketing Summit as keynote speaker in Glasgow. Experimentation has been central to everything we do at FlightStory and to the growth of The Diary of a CEO podcast, and I’m looking forward to sharing what we’ve learned about building audiences, testing ideas, embracing failure and creating content that connects.
“Scotland has an exciting business and marketing community, and I can’t wait to be part of the conversation at Hampden Park.”

The Scottish Marketing Summit is the flagship event of the Scottish Marketing Group, which was founded to bring together Scotland’s business owners, freelancers and marketers through high-impact experiences that inspire growth.
